Ralph Lauren launches “Wear Your Story” denim campaign

US lifestyle brand Ralph Lauren has this month puts its focus on its revamped denim offer – debuting its new “Wear Your Story” denim advertising campaign.

The marketing campaign is set to run from mid-August through September in global markets across outdoor, print, digital and social media. The campaign aims to capture the nostalgic feelings and stories created while wearing your favourite denim pieces and goes back to the brand’s roots, as Ralph Lauren himself is a long-time lover and wearer of vintage denim.

Denim is a critical category to the Ralph Lauren brand, and “Wear Your Story” is a part of the company’s continued efforts to amplify this category through focused product, merchandising and marketing.

The collection featured in this campaign includes new washes, treatments and details across several silhouettes in men’s and women’s Polo, along with responsibly sourced and produced cotton in numerous styles. Additionally, direct to garment printing is now available on denim "Trucker" jackets for men and women on RalphLauren.com.

Ralph Lauren is committed to creating sustainable denim with its ‘Design the Change’ strategy. The brand is partnering with suppliers who collect and recycle old denim, as well as working to reduce the use of stones and the amount of water required during the production process.

This effort to produce environmentally conscious denim is seen as an essential step in the brand’s journey to sustainably source 100% of its cotton, and reduce water use by 20% across all operations and value chain by 2025.
