On Wimbledon men’s final day on Sunday 14 July, as part of its 14th year as the official outfitter of the Wimbledon tennis tournament, Ralph Lauren hosted its first ever gaming tournament at its Regent Street flagship store.

The bespoke gaming concept, called "Playfully Wimbledon", was created in partnership with Snapchat, with gamers able to select a ball boy or ball girl to sprint down an endless tennis court with various obstructions to contend with, from umpire chairs, to players benches. The goal was to collect as many balls as possible before being defeated by one of the tennis-inspired obstacles.

The event saw twenty lucky contestants, including three renowned e-gamers, all competing to win a Polo Ralph Lauren wardrobe.

Polo Ralph Lauren’s Wimbledon campaign has been supported online, in-store and with outdoor activity across the UK. A "playful" bit of brand exposure from the US lifestyle heavyweights.
