Quiz to shut all remaining stores this weekend
All of the remaining Quiz stores will close on or before close of business on Saturday 20 June, administrators at Interpath have confirmed.
The fashion retailer had confirmed earlier this month that it was in the final weeks of closing down its entire UK store estate, after the falling into administration in February.
Alistair McAlinden, head of Interpath in Scotland and joint administrator, said: "As the Quiz stores close their doors for the final time, we would like to thank every member of staff for their commitment over the past five months.
"In exceptionally challenging circumstances, their professionalism ensured the business could continue to trade effectively. We are extremely grateful for their efforts and wish them all the best for the future."
Quiz entered administration on 5 February 2026, appointing joint administrators from Interpath, who have overseen the phased closure programme across the retailer's remaining UK estate.
The online store ceased trading on the 5 February, with the website stating that "all remaining stock must be cleared" and all sales were final.
Since then Quiz has introduced steep discounts in-store, with reductions of at least 60% across all product categories.
The administration resulted in 109 redundancies across head office and warehouse roles, with further job losses following as stores have shut.
It marked Quiz's second administration in just over a year, after the company collapsed in February 2025 and was subsequently acquired in a pre-pack deal by a subsidiary of its founding Ramzan family.
Quiz Clothing concessions operating within New Look and Matalan stores in the UK are not part of the administration process and continue to trade as normal, according to earlier administrator updates.
Geoff Jacobs, Managing Director at Interpath and joint administrator, said in May: "We'd once again like to say a huge thank you to Quiz staff who have shown such dedication and professionalism under difficult circumstances."
The full list of 37 stores that will have closed its doors by Saturday was published last month.
