Quiz stores to continue trading in May amid stock clearance push

All 40 Quiz Clothing stores will continue trading throughout May, with new stock continuing to flow into stores from distribution centres.

This forms part of the administrators' efforts to clear "all remaining stock" from the retailer.

Joint administrators from Interpath have confirmed that the trading situation at Quiz Clothing will continue to be kept under review.

Discounts at the retailer have steepened since April, with the website now declaring 60% - 80% discounts across all categories, from evening wear to casual styles, shoes, and accessories.

In-store discounts were first announced by Interpath in mid-February, when it noted "extremely positive" trading.

The online store ceased trading on 5 February, following the appointment of Interpath. The website currently states that "all remaining stock must be cleared" and that all sales are final.

Quiz Clothing concessions, which trade from New Look and Matalan stores in the UK, are not part of the administration process and continue to trade as normal.

The retailer collapsed into administration on 5 February 2026, with 109 head office and warehouse staff being made redundant and hundreds more at risk.

It marked the second time it had fallen into administration in a year, after collapsing in February 2025 before immediately being bought in a so-called pre-pack deal by a subsidiary of the founding Ramzan family.
