Omni-channel fashion brand Quiz has reported total Group sales increased by 20% (£1.4m) to £8.8m in the period 1 December 2021 to 31 December 2021.

UK stores and concessions trading for the Christmas trading period reached £5.2 million, a 64% rise compared to 2020's £3.2 million.

Online revenues totalled £2.1 million, decreasing 26% from £2.8 million the year prior. Quiz attributed the drop to the "termination of certain third-party partnerships during the financial year". The company also noted that sales through its own websites were consistent with the previous year and in-line with board expectations.

Gross margins generated in during the period were also consistent with those from the same period in FY2019, prior to the impact of COVID-19.

Quiz also reported that total group revenues in the nine months to 31 December 2021 totalled £61.0 million, representing an 88% increase on the £32.4 million generated in the equivalent period in FY2020.

Published documents note that the omni-channel fashion brand was "pleased with the performance achieved in the period given the challenging trading conditions", notably the widespread cancellation of social events and the introduction of formal restrictions on social activities in Scotland, Wales, and across Ireland.
