Quiz administrators confirm further in-store discounting but trading 'extremely positive'
Following the collapse of fashion brand Quiz into administration last week, for the second time in a year, administrators from Interpath have confirmed increased discounting is now underway across all its stores.
Quiz’s online store closed immediately upon the appointment of the administrators on 5 February 2026.
Alistair McAlinden, Head of Interpath in Scotland and joint administrator, said: “Since our appointment on 5 February, trading across the Quiz store portfolio has been extremely positive.
“We’d like to advise customers that all 40 stores remain open, and we will now be commencing additional clearance discounts across all remaining stock.”
Geoff Jacobs, Managing Director at Interpath and joint administrator, added: “We also urge any remaining parties with an interest in acquiring the stock, store operations and infrastructure of Quiz to contact us as soon as possible.”
All goods purchased on or after 5 February 2026 will be “sold as seen” and returns can only be accepted on the grounds that the goods are faulty.
Any customers seeking to return items purchased prior to 5 February 2026 are advised to go to their nearest store where a replacement or substitute item(s) equal to or less than the value of the original purchase can be provided.
Customers are advised that no cash or card refunds will be provided. In addition, gift cards and credit notes are unable to be honoured.
Customers who have already returned items purchased via the website, but who have yet to receive a refund, will not now be refunded. They should contact the provider of the credit or debit card which was used for payment and “seek assistance”.
Online orders that have not yet been despatched will not be fulfilled. However, customers should not have been charged for those items as payment is taken upon despatch.
Quiz concessions that trade from New Look and Matalan stores in the UK are not part of the administration processes and continue to trade as normal.
