Quiet luxury reigns supreme as Brunello Cucinelli reveals double-digit growth
Brunello Cucinelli has reported robust turnover for the first half of 2025, with revenues rising 10.2% to €684 million (£590 million). The results, announced today by the Italian luxury maison, reflect double-digit growth across all regions and sales channels, affirming the continuing appeal of quiet luxury.
The Americas, Europe and Asia all delivered solid performances, with Asia leading the pack, up 12.5% year-on-year. Europe posted a 10% gain, boosted by a standout 15.8% rise in Italy, while the Americas grew by 8.7%. Both menswear and womenswear collections remained key to the brand’s positioning, with strong demand across both categories.
Retail and wholesale revenues were almost evenly matched in growth, with retail up 10.3% and wholesale increasing by 10.1%. The retail channel, comprising 130 boutiques, benefited from like-for-like sales. The company said wholesale performance was bolstered by successful multibrand partnerships.
Founder and Executive Chairman, Brunello Cucinelli, said: "The first half of this year has ended with excellent results; perhaps we are now reaping the rewards of our philosophy of working and living in harmony with Creation, always believing in great craftsmanship, quality and exclusivity,” he said in the earnings statement.
"I believe that our brand is now considered among the great names in international luxury, and we intend to honour this position with every new collection and every new project."
Looking ahead, the company reiterated its guidance for the full year 2025, forecasting turnover growth of around 10%, along with "fair and balanced profits". It also confirmed a similarly strong outlook for 2026, driven by continued product innovation, geographic expansion and enduring demand for the Cucinelli aesthetic.
