Queer Eye’s Tan France launches edit with George at Asda

Queer Eye's Tan France has launched his first ever UK womenswear collaboration with George at Asda this week, featuring a 37-piece edit of "style shortcuts".

Standout pieces include a bold puppytooth co-ord, a midnight-hued midi dress, neon knitwear, tracksuits and a selection of statement casualwear.

The Doncaster-born star and Queer Eye host has been styling people both on and off camera for years, and his expertise is "evident through the carefully selected collection", according to Asda.

In a statement, Tan France said: “I’m a real advocate for accessible fashion, it simply doesn’t need to cost the earth to look good. I’ve never been one to spend a fortune on my wardrobe - you really can’t buy style - it’s about how you wear it and more than anything that’s what I want my edit for George at Asda to show; a bit of confidence goes a long way!”

The collection is available in selected stores across the UK and online at George.com from today, priced from £7.

Earlier this year, Asda announced a partnership with Netflix to launch branded merchandise of hit shows including Squid Game, Stranger Things, Emily in Paris and Friends.

Throughout the year George has continued to launch exclusive Netflix ranges online as the retailer continues to grow its number of licensed products, which are becoming more popular with customers.

Netflix first caught on to growing customer demand for themed merchandise in June 2021, when it launched its online store for exclusive drops of fashion and lifestyle products. The platform now operates in the US, UK and other key markets.

Commenting on the partnership with Netflix, Scott Macrae, Senior Buying Manager at George, said: “We know that George is an important destination for customers looking to buy licensed product and Netflix has a broad range of properties that appeal to all the family."
