Sportswear giant Puma has today launched its first-ever collaboration collection with London-based luxury streetwear brand Aries.

Blending Puma’s heritage with Aries’ signature looks and graphics, the new partnership "riffs on racing and kitschy aesthetics", mixing modern and nostalgic references.

The genderless collection, which was teased during Puma’s New York Fashion Week show in February 2024, is highlighted by statement graphics as well as experimental knitwear and double nylon pieces, paired with a crafted selection of accessories and footwear, including an Aries take on the Puma ‘Mostro’ trainer.

The ‘Mostro’ is described as the "hero of the collaboration" and has been reworked with a mixture of mesh, neoprene, and suede on the upper. It also features an elastic closure with an adjustable toggle at the rear.

Also on the footwear front, Puma’s iconic ‘Suede’ trainer has been given a new makeover and comes with a rubberised mudguard, leather toe cap, and special graphics on the heel and tongue.

The collaboration capsule includes a "moto-mesh" long sleeve t-shirt featuring a selection of Aries custom graphics, as well as a knitted cardigan printed with an original digital print.

A lace-knit tight t-shirt is inspired by cycling and is made from an original knitted jacquard, while the garment washed oversized t-shirt features a fierce "PUMA" graphic with an airbrushed motif playing on Aries’ branding of ancient mythology.

The water-repellent nylon lightweight jacket and lightweight pants once again make use of a digital print featuring a "PUMA" skeletal x-ray graphic.

Puma and Aries called on acclaimed New York photographer, Mark Luckasavage, to capture the collection through a spectral, filtered lens.

The collection is now available at the Aries flagship store at 31 Great Pulteney Street in London’s Soho, as well as at retailers including END., Slam Jam and KITH.
