Primark supports fight against AIDS with RED collection

Primark has partnered with (RED) to support the Global Fund's fight against HIV and AIDS with a dedicated collection, part of the proceeds of which will be donated to the cause.

The (PRIMARK) RED collection, which includes menswear, womenswear, childrenswear and accessories will be available in all stores with 10% of all sales (or a minimum of £750,000) being donated to the Global Fund to end AIDS.

Channeling (RED)'s "InspiRED", "CultuRED" and "EmpoweRED" maxims, the collection takes on an athleisure theme with products ranging from a £2 tote bag to £6 leggings and £8 hoodies.

“The collection makes it possible for Primark customers to get fashion-forward clothing and accessories that not only look great but also help save lives,” (RED) chief operating officer Jennifer Lotito said.

Primark CEO Paul Marchant added: “Through the collection, we will support programmes that deliver prevention, testing, treatment, counselling and care services in sub-Saharan Africa.”
