PrettyLittleThing launches limited edition gin to test drinks market

Fast fashion etailer PrettyLittleThing is testing the waters of the beverage market, as it launches a limited-edition gin called 'PrettyLittleGin'.

The gin features edible glitter and has hints of strawberry and vanilla, hoping to bring those missing summer vibes to consumers home. The catch? There are only 99 bottles available for customers to get their hands on before it’s gone forever.

The limited edition drink is not directly available for purchase, only through a social media competition, but could be a sign that the brand is surveying the market, as the company has previously announced it will expand out of clothing to launch its first ever homewares range.

To enter the competition, PrettyLittleThing has advised customers keep their eyes peeled on their social media accounts (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and follow the instructions. The competition ends on 3 September 2020.

Last month, PrettyLittleThing submitted a planning application to expand its existing headquarters in Manchester.

Boohoo-owned PrettyLittleThing is planning to build a 10,000 sq ft extension to its Wellington Mill headquarters in Ancoats, Manchester.
