Newly crowned Premier League champions Manchester City are opening a new club shop at the Manchester Arndale tomorrow, 26 May, located in the former Pink unit.

The store, in partnership with Manchester City’s retail partner Stichd, will stock the recently released 2023/24 home kit, training apparel, hats, scarfs and memorabilia.

To further celebrate the opening and recent league title win, the Premier League trophy will be proudly on display in the store from 9am on Friday until 6pm on Sunday, allowing fans to have their photo taken with the iconic silverware.

In addition to the trophy, customers at the store this weekend will have also have access to “exciting giveaways” and be some of the first fans to experience the new digital activities within the store, including the ‘Meet the Players’ interactive video wall.

Serena Gosling, Director of Integrated Fan Experience and Retail & Licensing at Manchester City, said: “It is hugely exciting for us to launch our brand new City store in Manchester Arndale - another important development in what has been an incredible year of retail sales for the club.”

Pete Emerick, Licensing Manager of Football at Stichd, added: “We’re pleased to be able to support Manchester City with the launch of its Manchester Arndale store. As retail partner of the club for the past two seasons, we’ve experienced huge success together, breaking a number of sales records during that time.

“We hope that fans enjoy the new store and look forward to continuing to work together with Manchester City on more successful activations.”

Steve Gray, Head of European Retail Asset Management at Global Mutual, commented: “Football is intrinsic to Manchester’s unique identity, and we are delighted to welcome the Premier League champions to the centre.

“The arrival of Manchester City demonstrates our commitment to delivering a vibrant retail destination that chimes with local shoppers as well as visitors from further afield who are looking to immerse themselves in the city’s culture.

“With such a significant name joining the centre it’s clear there is continued demand for well-placed retail units, and we are delighted to see confidence in Manchester Arndale’s long-term performance.”

Manchester City’s new club shop will sit alongside Manchester Arndale’s popular sports and leisure stores such as Footlocker and JD Sports, as well as Sports Direct’s newly opened flagship store in the former BHS unit.
