Poundland to open largest UK store with extensive clothing selection

Poundland is to open its largest UK store to date, located in Nottingham. The new location will see over a third of its 15,000 sq ft space dedicated to its PEP&CO clothing selection. 

The new PEP&CO "shop in shop" will feature the largest selection of womenswear, menswear and kidswear ranges in a Poundland store yet. PEP&CO was launched as a standalone brand in 2015 and is now available in 400 stores, with Poundland claiming it is now the UK’s fastest growing clothing brand and one of the top 20 clothing retailers in the UK.

The new store will open at Nottingham Riverside retail park on tomorrow, 12 February, and will include the widest variety of homeware. The store also will offer a wider range of health and beauty products than a standard location.

Poundland said the new store will feel modern and contemporary, with replacement stock being kept in the warehouse, not on high shelves across the shop floor. It is over twice the size of a typical 6,000 sq ft Poundland store and will be staffed 75 full and part-time employees.
