Pops of pink and florals take centre stage to kick off Chelsea Flower Show
Vibrant pinks and spring florals led the charge on the press day of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Every May, the elegant neighbourhood of central London bursts into bloom with the colourful RHS event.
This year, royals and celebrities followed suit, stepping out in summer brights and blooming prints.
Officially running from 19-23 May, the show brings world-class garden design, horticultural discussions and a wealth of spring/summer style inspiration.
An exception to the bright and bold palette was the Queen, who wore a black and white midi dress with a circular print – perhaps a nod to the blooms around her.

The Queen finished the look with a structured black jacket, leather heels and a matching black clutch. She wore a bee brooch set with diamonds and sapphires.
But it was pink that seemed to be the go-to colour for most celebrities. Dame Mary Berry wore one of the season’s biggest trends in a pink polka-dot dress by Holland Cooper.

Dame Judi Dench took a more British countryside chic approach by bucking the trend and layering a camel suede coat over relaxed black tailoring, finished with a checked blue-and-yellow scarf.
Standing alongside TV presenter Ben Shepherd – who wore a cream double-breasted blazer with navy trousers and chocolate brown boots – the Oscar-winning actress proved Chelsea style doesn’t always have to lean into florals or brights.
