British premium sportswear brand, PlayBrave, has appointed six-time Grand Slam champion and Davis Cup winner, Jamie Murray as Global Ambassador.Based on a philosophy of challenging everyone's personal best every day, PlayBrave was founded out of a need to create a brand that "provides everything necessary to conquer oneself and excel".

Crafted from premium, technical fabrics designed to adapt to everyone's body temperature and needs, each garment is cut for the "optimum in style, comfort and performance".

Murray won his first Grand Slam title at the age of 21 and has since gone onto claim 21 ATP doubles titles and appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2016 for his services to tennis and charity.

Jamie Murray commented: "I am delighted to be appointed as the Global Ambassador of PlayBrave. I have been working really closely with the design team to optimise my kit for the upcoming tournaments and the attention to detail they put into the products is second to none.

"They work hard to create premium products to bring out the best in the player and I look forward to training and competing in the collection over the coming months. The PlayBrave ethos is something that really resonates with me and I am definitely looking to bring some of that mentality to the court with me this season."

The news follows from his brother's recent investment and Global Ambassador deal with British luxury sports brand Castore.
