Pitti Immagine will launch its latest and more advanced Pitti Connect digital platform from the end of June, and plans for the re-scheduled Pitti Uomo show – now set for 2-4 September – remain in place, despite the COVID-19 crisis.

Launching as a response to the extraordinary requirements of the present day, and to boost networking and business at all the Pitti fairs, the revamped Pitti Connect is described as "a new and essential work tool for contributing to the relaunch of the entire fashion system."

The latest statement from the organisers reads: “Pitti Connect will allow exhibitors at the Pitti Immagine fairs (Pitti Uomo, Pitti Bimbo, Pitti Filati, Fragranze and Super) to increase their visibility, activate business contacts and to be supported through the process of receiving orders while complying with the traditional timing of sales campaigns, in advance of the opening of the September fairs.”

Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine, comments: “We know all about the priorities and the challenges that fashion companies and brands are facing at this time, because we at Pitti Immagine are experiencing the same ones. We want to offer the very best existing technology with a totally new platform and an editorial layout that is rich in content, just like a regular magazine.”

Agostino Poletto, general manager of Pitti Immagine, adds: “Pitti Connect will make it possible for exhibitors to better communicate all the facets of their brand identity, and also have advanced functions for managing access to the marketplace and the order phase.

“The Pitti Connect service will be available from the beginning of the summer right up until September, when it will become integrated with the physical fair at the Fortezza da Basso.”
