Phase Eight relocates and upsizes Bury St Edmunds store

Phase Eight is opening a new 2,389 sq ft flagship store at Arc shopping centre in Bury St Edmunds on 19 July, relocating and upsizing by 347% from its previous unit at 25 Abbeygate, which closed this week.

The new store opening is the latest stage of Phase Eight’s retail expansion strategy, which launched last year with 13 stores across the UK and Europe. Further store openings in key locations such as Dublin, Glasgow, Fosse Park, and Hamburg are planned for later this year.

Caraline Money, Group Retail Director at Phase Eight, said: "We are proud to be opening our new store in Bury St Edmunds, a town we have successfully traded in for the past 15 years.

"The new larger location enables us to showcase limited-edition ranges such as the petite collection, bridal and black-tie which were not previously available in the market."

Allan Hassell, Centre Manager at Arc Shopping Centre, added: "Having had a presence in Bury St Edmunds for many years, it’s great to have Phase Eight further strengthening the fashion offering at the centre with their stunning new shopfit and bigger store."

The new store adopts the refreshed Phase Eight retail concept, which has been rolling out since the opening of the the brand's flagship store at Westfield London (White City) in 2022.

It features unique interior design elements such as curved timber wall arches, solid wood flooring, a marble backdrop on the cash desk and a private VIP styling room.
