G-Star RAW has unveiled its latest campaign for AW17 starring a line-up of diverse creative talent along with its own co-owner and head of imagination Pharrell Williams.

Williams said the talent in the campaign, which also includes Adwoa Aboah, her sister Kesewa, models India Graham, Brooke Perry, Jean Campbell and Lennon Gallagher, and actor and campaigner Connor Newall, were selected for being "outspoken individuals with their own sense of style".

As well as the imagery, the campaign, which breaks worldwide today, includes a video shown the stars wearing the signature G-Star Elwood jeans (launched in 1996) in their own unique way. The video also features the line-up talking about their view of the world they live in, and what matters to them right now: from "friendship", "inclusion" and "solidarity", to "individuality" and "owning what you're about".

"Being in a campaign that brought together people from different backgrounds with diverse looks and let them be themselves in a classic piece of clothing really appealed to me," said Adwoa Aboah, model, mental health advocate, and founder of Gurls Talk, a multimedia platform that creates a safe space for young women to share their stories.

"Also, the message of the campaign - to be comfortable with yourself and tolerant of those around you - resonated with me. It's a positive starting point for a conversation about accepting yourself and others," Aboah added.
