Personal-styling platform Thread launches womenswear
Personal-styling platform Thread has launched a dedicated womenswear category on its website, allowing customers to shop from over over 30,000 items.
Featuring popular womenswear brands including Prada, French Connection, Ganni, Little Mistress, Boden, Phase Eight, Oliver Bonas, and more.
Combining an algorithm with the personal touch of online stylists, Thread has already proven to be popular with men who feel uncomfortable going out shopping and putting outfits together themselves.
Founded in 2012 by CEO Kieran O’Neill, and Chief Technology Officer Ben Phillips, in 2018 the company successfully raised £17m ($22m) in funding, in a round led by H&M.
The company is also backed by computer programme company DeepMind and investment service Balderton Capital.
