PANGAIA reveals permanent spot in London’s Selfridges

PANGAIA, the science-meets-fashion brand, announces the opening of a permanent concession at the iconic department store Selfridges following last year's pop-up.

Launched on 11 November, the expansion exemplifies the brand’s rapidly growing presence in London, after the success of its first experimental pop-up just last year. The brand is committed to having a presence in key retail locations following the opening of its first permanent concession in September at Galeries Lafayette Champs Elysées, Paris.

PANGAIA and Selfridges designed the retail space to reflect the brand’s core values: innovation and exploration. Utilising recycled consumer textile waste, such as the clothing rail bases, the brand remains focused of planet-positive efforts. This new platform will embody PANGAIA’s commitment to sustainability, aligning with Selfridges’ Project Earth initiative, which aims to reinvent retail and meet its commitment to a net-zero future.

Taking cues from the brand’s ‘high tech naturalism’ aesthetic, the immersive ‘World of PANGAIA’ is minimal, yet injected with its signature colours. On the rails, consumers will find PANGAIA classics from the 365 collection, as well as exclusive ranges, such as the pieces from its latest collaborations with Victor Victor and Timberland.

PANGAIA collective commented: "Opening a permanent space in London has been on the plan for some time as we have a highly engaged community in the UK. We saw such a great response to our Selfridges corner shop pop up in 2021 and it great to solidify our position with this opening.

"Our goal is to make sustainable innovations the new normal so that people look at brands and ask what they do for the world - we used that as our driving force to create a space that fuses education with entertainment, to deliver an energetic and understandable approach to showcasing the limitless possibilities that can be achieved through materials science and innovation."
