Pangaia enters new strategic era with appointment of Inditex exec as CEO

Pangaia has appointed Daniel Gómez as Chief Executive Officer, signalling the beginning of a new phase for the materials-science-driven brand following Aurora Vision Group’s acquisition of a controlling stake earlier this year.

Gómez's experience spans Inditex, where he helped launch the group’s ecommerce operations in Russia, and Chalhoub Group, where he worked across strategy, brand development and organisational transformation.

He now steps into Pangaia at a moment when the brand is looking to evolve from a hype-led model into a more structured fashion company with clearer pathways in retail, distribution, and product diversification.

Daniel Gómez said: "I am deeply honoured to join Pangaia as Chief Executive Officer. I was inspired by Pangaia's bold vision to demonstrate that fashion can move beyond consumption, becoming a platform for innovation, responsibility, and cultural impact.
