PANGAIA collaborates with Takashi Murakami for World Bee Day
This World Bee Day, vegan label PANGAIA is launching Bee the Change fund, in partnership with Milkywire, which aims to protect and preserve vulnerable and endangered bee species across the world.
The first collection to benefit the newly established fund will be the very special PANGAIA x Takashi Murakami collection, featuring prints with flowers and a unique bee character created specifically for the project.
Murakami’s signature flower bomb and smiling flower designs have been used throughout the capsule, with the collections colourful bee character also featuring in every piece.
The upcoming Takashi Murakami x PANGAIA capsule collection will contain two celebratory t-shirts and two hoodies showcasing Murakami’s exclusive art.
The pieces come in Cobalt Blue, Off White, Orchid Purple and Saffron Yellow. The t-shirts are unique in that they feature a eco-statement about how bees support the Earth's ecosystem.
Launching on World Bee Day (20 May 2020), PANGAIA will launch the collection via its website, thepangaia.com.
PANGAIA’s t-shirts are made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton, which is chemical-free, whilst its hoodies are produced using a percentage of recycled materials.
