British skateboarding label Palace is set to open a pop-up at London department store Harrods, offering customers a range of co-branded festive apparel and gifts.

The "Palace Harrods" pop-up will will be staged at the Knightbridge store from 10 to 12 December within the menswear floor. The collaboration, which includes a Palace takeover on Harrods e-commerce will also see the luxury retailer doing its first logo swap.

The new logo will be featured on the collection's apparel an accessories, which includes oversized varsity jackets, wool caps, hoodies, teddy bears and plastered across the in-store pop-up with bespoke branded carpeting.

The British retailer added that the Palace Harrods Hamper will be the "most talked-about" and "most iconic and memorable gift this Christmas". The basket will include Harrods branded tea, wines, chocolate gold bars and a lucky dip of a Harrods green Palace beanie or socks.

Simon Longland, Head of men’s wear at Harrods, said in a release: "Palace is known for their disruptive and unexpected collaborations, and this is absolutely one of the most unexpected in a year full of surprising collaborations. When we decided to collaborate with Palace, a Christmas capsule was intrinsically our first thought, specifically, the legendary Christmas hamper."

The news follows Palace's recent collaboration with Italian sportswear brand Kappa on a 90’s archive-inspired collection.
