Rocco Iannone has been appointed creative director at Pal Zileri and formally takes up his new role with the Italian menswear label on 3 July.

Iannone, a graduate of the Marangoni School of Design, joins after 10 years with Giorgio Armani where he was in charge of its signature menswear main line, special projects and brand endorsement.

Giovanni Mannucci, CEO of Forall SpA, brand owner of Pal Zileri, said he believed in Iannone's "talent, widespread expertise and vision." "[He] will allow our brand to enter the next phase of its extraordinary path. I am very much looking forward to his contribution to writing a new chapter of this beautiful story."

Iannone's first collection for Pal Zileri will be AW18/19 which will be unveiled in Milan in January 2018. He replaces Mauro Ravizza Krieger who left the company in June.
