Oxford Street launches Beyond Now sustainability awareness campaign

Oxford Street is to launch its second-ever sustainability awareness campaign, showcasing the journey that some UK brands are on to create a more sustainable future for the high street.

Titled "Beyond Now 2022", Oxford Street has partnered with British actress and activist Amy Jackson to launch the series of sustainability focused products, experiences, events and workshops.

Taking place from 22-24 April, the campaign will see Selfridges offer resale, rental, repair and refill services, Adidas host a trainer cleaning workshop and Boots host a plastic free period event.

The Body Shop, John Lewis, Lush, Nike and Asics are also participating.

Jackson, who most recently appeared in the TV series Supergirl, has curated her own edit of 70 products across fashion, wellness and homeware to create a spring/summer capsule from the responsible and conscious collections of over 20 Oxford Street brands.

As part of the celebrations Oxford Street also launched a pledge, The Beyond Now Promise, where it will invite consumers to make personal promises that drive change towards a brighter future. Shoppers can commit to activities large and small, including re-styling their wardrobe or to exchange their car for a bike during a shopping trip. All those who make promises will also have the opportunity to win £500 to spend in a participating store.
