Over+Above appoints Chris Robshaw and Ryan Libbey as new brand ambassadors

Athletic apparel brand Over+Above, which was founded by former England cricketer Matt Prior in 2024, has announced ex-England rugby player Chris Robshaw and personal trainer and content creator Ryan Libbey as its new brand ambassadors.

Libbey stars in the first campaign focusing on Over+Above’s mission to deliver “science-backed apparel”, redefining performance wear through its integration of proprioceptive technology.

The aim is bridge the gap between biomechanics and functional sportswear to help athletes “move better, recover faster and perform at their peak”.

Prior, who has over 100 caps for the England cricket team and who is also CEO of Over+Above, said: “Designed for multi-sport versatility, we aim to cater to athletes who train across disciplines, whilst highlighting the real, human experiences behind performance fronted and represented by our brand ambassadors Ryan Libbey and Chris Robshaw - setting us apart from other technical sports brands in the market.

“This new phase of the brand introduces a stronger, more human-centred narrative that goes beyond physical capability, supported by our new ambassador-driven storytelling. For the first campaign, Ryan Libbey brings authenticity, vulnerability and real athletic experience to the forefront.”

Over+Above’s ProPrio range includes a complete set of performance essentials, such as full tights, half tights, calf sleeves, long-sleeve tops, short-sleeve tops and racquet sleeves. Designed with the brand’s patented, kinesiology-inspired technology, each piece is engineered to support athletes through high intensity training, endurance work and multi-sport movement.

“We are laser focused on the importance and USP of our patented ProPrio technology - an anatomically designed, kinesiology-inspired system that supports muscle activation, alignment and recovery with exceptional precision,” added Prior.

“It isn’t meant to be just technical sportswear - it’s apparel created by athletes and biomechanical experts to elevate physical capability. Every garment is crafted to help pro and non-pro athletes feel more connected to their bodies, push further with control, and train with a heightened sense of focus and awareness.

“By merging advanced sports science with a philosophy centred on wellbeing, our goal is to offer a uniquely holistic approach to performance that sets us apart in the competitive athletic apparel space.”

The pricing structure for the ProPrio range underscores the brand’s emphasis on high grade, scientifically engineered products “designed for serious athletes who value both performance and durability”. Short-sleeve tops are £110, long-sleeve tops are £120, racquet sleeves are £50, calf sleeves are £65 and full tights are £140.
