& Other Stories names Jonathan Saunders as Chief Creative Officer

& Other Stories has welcomed Scottish fashion designer Jonathan Saunders as its new Chief Creative Officer.

In this newly created role, Saunders will lead the H&M Group-owned brand's overall creative direction, shaping how & Other Stories evolves and expresses itself across all touchpoints.

Lina Söderqvist, Managing Director at & Other Stories, said: "Jonathan brings a refined blend of creativity and passion to us and will play a key role in taking the brand into the next phase.

Recognised for his creative direction and strategic leadership within the global fashion industry, London-based Saunders has held various senior roles including Chief Creative Officer at Diane von Furstenberg and Creative Director of Pollini.

He also founded his own eponymous label in 2003 and has consulted for luxury brands such as Calvin Klein, Tiffany & Co, Chloé, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs.

Known for his refined aesthetic, strong brand vision and ability to shape expressive, modern collections, his new appointment as Chief Creative Officer reinforces the brand’s dedication to "continuously evolving and strengthening the creative direction".

Saunders said: "I am excited to be working with & Other Stories and H&M Group on this new chapter for the brand. I think that thoughtful, expressive design that is also accessible, is powerful in this fast-evolving industry."

The news comes as & Other Stories prepares to launch an exclusive collaboration with London-based fashion designer Roksanda Ilinčić, founder and creative director of the eponymous label Roksanda.

Inspired by Ilinčić’s admiration for summer sunsets, the new collection is crafted with summer in mind - designed to transition from elevated daytime dressing to elegant evening events.
