Olivia & Pearl appoints marketing company to strengthen ecommerce platform

Contemporary jewellery brand Olivia & Pearl have appointed MediaVision to execute a new marketing plan, with a mission to bring the pearl jewellery to a new generation of customers.

The appointment comes ahead of the brand’s focus on strengthening its ecommerce platform and online reach for 2020.

The brief is to establish the brand as a go-to name in the jewellery lifestyle sector through SEO, PPC and Digital PR.

Founded in 2017, Olivia and Pearl has quickly grown from start-up to recognised player in the UK jewellery market, securing contracts with Fenwick’s Department Stores and celebrity fans such as Holly Willoughby, Jodie Kidd and Cherry Healy. 

Founder and Creative Director, Olivia Smith said in a statement: "Last year we embarked on our first round of venture capital investment, securing funds to scale the business in the UK via our digital channels.

"After identifying a gap in the market for affordable and contemporary pearl jewellery, I founded Olivia & Pearl with the aim of creating the world’s go-to pearl jewellery brand. We challenge the traditional marketplace by cutting out the middleman and sourcing directly from the pearl farms.

"Mediavision showed that they understood our market and were enthused by the opportunity Olivia & Pearl presented, our impact and our values. As a relatively young start-up company that was really important to us.”
