British menswear designer Oliver Spencer will see his brand stocked in five Nordstrom department stores in key US cities from this month.
The brand, which was launched in 2002, will be available in New York, Seattle, Chicago and two stores in Los Angeles.
Known for its contemporary take on classic men’s style, the Oliver Spencer brand is also known for its sustainable approach to design, which was attractive to the US department store.
“Oliver Spencer creates modern, environmentally sustainable sportswear that is very easy for customers to adopt and add to their wardrobe. He has a very distinct point of view and adds his own unique touch to each piece through the use of color, texture or stitching,” said Tina Aniversario, Nordstrom vice president and divisional merchandise manager for men’s sportswear.
“We strive to create a sense newness and discovery for our customers and we’re excited to introduce them to Oliver Spencer.”
In the UK, Spencer, who shows his collections at London Fashion Week Men’s, has standalone stores in Notting Hill, Bloomsbury, Soho and Shoreditch. It is also sold in multi-brand physical and digital stores including Mr Porter, Matchesfashion.com, Liberty and Harvey Nichols among others.
