Notting Hill pop-up launches showcasing five emerging and independent designers
Under the title of ‘Inside Scoop’, a new pop-up at Badiani Gelato in London’s Notting Hill has opened, putting the spotlight on five emerging and independent designers “who need space, visibility and real market feedback”.
Running until 18 December, it is the first edition of a new pop-up series put together by Serena Relations and Starfish, the boutique marketing, creative and brand-building agency founded by Serena Lena and Francesco Pinci, with a focus on luxury, fashion, beauty and home décor.
The aim is to “connect talent, elevate creative voices, and build meaningful bridges between designers and the UK market”, helping the designers understand how their ideas translate commercially while maintaining their creative integrity.
With daily activations, the pop-up lets the designers share their brand stories, present their collections, and connect directly with buyers, press, influencers and guests.
This project marks the start of a travelling format that will bring curated spaces for emerging talent to different cities, “reinforcing the independent creativity ecosystem” championed by Serena Relations and Starfish.
By observing real-time reactions in a physical space, the team can offer designers strategic insights often missing from online or traditional retail settings.
The pop-up is described as “more than a retail moment”, serving as a strategic incubator, a business lab, and a hub for creative exchange.
To kick off the first pop-up, there are sustainably crafted vegan bags from Italy-based Anema, luxury streetwear crafted from repurposed deadstock fabrics from London-based Poet-Lab, and Romanian designer Silvia Serban, who blends “architectural tailoring with expressive minimalism and sculpted silhouettes”, using bold colours, graphic contrasts and clean lines.
Rounding out the first five designers to feature there’s Brian Clarke, who blends classic British men’s tailoring with subtle theatrical flair, and Italian/Togolese ethical fashion brand Nyny Ryke.
