Nobody's Child strengthens leadership as growth continues

Nobody's Child has strengthened its senior team with two new appointments spanning merchandising and retail, as the brand continues to grow.

The fashion brand, led by CEO Jody Plows, has appointed Jennie Clarke as Head of Merchandising and Amy Boswell as Head of Retail on an interim basis.

Clarke spent the last 13 years at Phase Eight, most recently in the role of Head of Merchandising. Prior to this, she had stints at both Reiss and Hobbs.

In a post on LinkedIn, Clarke commented that she was "looking forward" to her role and that she was "joining a business that is continuing to grow and make a real impact within the industry".

Boswell has been appointed as the interim Head of Retail after spending five years as the Executive Assistant to Nobody's Child CEO Jody Plows. She previously held the same role for the Ann Summers CEO as well as the Founder of New Look.

Nobody's Child also shared that its Digital Director, Kate Murray, who has been with the brand since December 2025, is also supporting the next phase of growth for the brand. Murray brings 14 years of experience to the role.

Issy Campbell, People & Culture Lead at Nobody's Child, said: "Every senior leadership appointment is the result of a rigorous and considered recruitment process at Nobody's Child, ensuring we find people whose experience, values and ambitions align with our long-term vision.

"These hires will play an important role in strengthening our leadership team as we continue to grow, innovate and deliver for our customers."

The appointments arrive as Nobody's Child continues to grow its work around sustainability, circularity and traceability. In an interview with TheIndustry.fashion published in August 2025, Plows described the brand's DPP initiative as "the biggest and most complex sustainability project we've worked on" and said the company had launched the pilot years before anticipated government legislation.

The brand won Best Use of Technology in the Planet category at TheIndustry.fashion Awards 2025 for that work, which was developed in partnership with tech firm Fabacus and traceability specialist Fairly Made.
