Nobody's Child launches pre-loved resale platform with eBay and Reskinned
British fashion brand Nobody’s Child has expanded its commitment to circular fashion by launching a pre-loved resale initiative in partnership with eBay and textile recycling platform Reskinned.
The collaboration sees pre-loved Nobody’s Child garments, acquired from customers and staff donations, listed on eBay via Reskinned. Over the last month, Nobody’s Child has been busy gathering donations.
Pairing eBay’s reach to its millions of customers with Reskinned’s expertise in garment repair, resale and recycling will help extend the lifecycle of Nobody’s Child garments.
The initiative underscores Nobody’s Child’s commitment to circular fashion and reducing textile waste, while giving customers an easy, rewarding way to keep fashion out of landfill.
"Our mission has always been to design beautiful clothes with a conscience," said Jody Plows, CEO of Nobody’s Child. "By partnering with Reskinned and eBay, we’re taking that promise even further—giving our customers the power to contribute to a circular fashion economy."
The resale programme complements Nobody’s Child’s existing sustainability initiatives, which include takeback via Reskinned, rental services through ZOA and repairs and alterations in collaboration with SOJO. The brand is also a signatory of WRAP’s Textiles 2030 initiative, supporting nationwide efforts to slash carbon and water footprints in the fashion industry.
"The pre-loved fashion market is booming, fueled by savvy Gen Z shoppers looking for high-quality pieces at great prices," added Kirsty Keoghan, Global Head of Pre-Loved Fashion at eBay. "Bringing an incredible brand like Nobody’s Child onto our platform helps make circular fashion more accessible for everyone."
This comes as Nobody's Child also looks to expand its physical presence. Earlier this week, the retailer announced it is opening a new store at Victoria Leeds, marking its third location outside of London as the womenswear brand continues its expansion.
