Nobody’s Child joins forces with Lisou on 1960s and 70s-inspired premium range
London-based fashion brand Nobody’s Child has teamed up with luxury womenswear brand Lisou on a vibrant 18-piece collection inspired by 1960s and 70s British pop culture.
Rooted in the symbolic print traditions of her African heritage, Lisou’s founder René Macdonald brings a rich tapestry of hand-drawn prints, created in her London studio, into this ‘maximalist’ collaboration.
The collection reimagines vintage silhouettes in premium fabrics and exclusive prints from the Lisou archive.
Meticulous attention to detail is seen throughout, from intricate internal linings and piped seams to refined hardware finishes.
Tailoring takes centre stage, with miniskirts and wide-leg trousers paired with sharply cut blazers, designed with nipped-in waists and premium linings.
Corduroy and velvet mini dresses are cut low and styled over striped long-sleeve tops and blouses with bold, statement collars.

Hero pieces include bias-cut column maxi dresses with backless silhouettes, drop bead detailing and scarf-style necklines, appearing in jewel-toned greens, cherry lacquer harlequin prints and rich purples.
The ‘Jay’ jumpsuit in magenta makes a bold statement with its one-shoulder cut, flared leg and exaggerated sleeve, described as “a standout party piece”.
Outerwear takes “a luxe turn” with the ‘Cameron’ coat, crafted in double-faced wool and styled in an oversized cocoon shape, finished with darted cuffs for added volume.
Jody Plows, CEO of Nobody’s Child, said: “Lisou is a brand we’ve long admired for its playful use of colour and print. Collaborating with René and her team has allowed us to explore new creative territory and offer our customers a premium range of beautiful, considered pieces to be worn forever.
This collaboration brings together the best of both worlds - Lisou’s spirited flair and our commitment to beautiful clothing for everyone.”
René Macdonald added: “This collaboration has been our most exciting to date, there’s so much to explore! Nobody’s Child have been a joy to work with creatively.
“We looked at Lisou prints and Nobody’s Child shapes and together created a stunning collection. Each piece has been created with love and consideration for you to enjoy, the colours and prints will resonate with Lisou lovers.”
Each piece within the collection is accompanied by its very own Digital Product Passport (DPP) that documents the supply chain touch points, powered by UK tech company Fabacus and traced by Fairly Made.
With a simple scan of the QR code on the inner label, customers can learn more about the environmental impact and supply chain of the item – where’s it’s been produced and the impact of its production on the planet.
The collection is available from this afternoon at select Nobody’s Child stores and website, in sizes from 4-22, with prices ranging from £69 - £299.
