Nobis to donate 100% of all online sales to help fight COVID-19
Canadian premium outerwear brand Nobis has announced it has launched a three-week global initiative – running from April 10-30 - which will see 100% of all its online sales donated to help protect frontline healthcare professionals spearheading the fight against COVID-19.
The pre-tax purchase price from all online sales on Nobis.com will go directly to support hospitals and healthcare workers around the world who are in urgent need of supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE).
All international sales will be directed to the Red Cross COVID-19 Global Appeal to enable Red Cross and Red Crescents around the world to support response and recovery activities.
Nobis founder and vice president, Robin Yates, said: “Nobis, Latin for ‘us’, has always understood the importance of community, and we are incredibly proud of and indebted to our frontline healthcare providers whose bravery and selflessness are a beacon of hope in uncertain times.
“There has never been a more crucial time for us to further our community support. This is why Nobis is doing everything within our means to recognise and support the incredible sacrifice being made by these outstanding individuals in the ongoing battle against COVID-19.”
The news follows an initial CAN$100,000 donated by Nobis to local Ontario hospitals last week.
