Niccolò P set to open pop-up store in Ham Yard Village

New menswear luxury polo shirt brand Niccolò P is opening its first ever pop-up shop at 7 Denman Place, Ham Yard Village in Soho – running from 15 May–15 June 2019.

Based in London, and launched in 2018 by former City professional Pascal Keane, with a mission to put the "shirt" back into "polo shirt", the brand uses the finest natural materials including West Indian Sea Island cotton, with bespoke-level details in classic styles with a contemporary fit. This year sees the range more than double to 20 styles.

Keane said: “We’re incredibly proud to be launching an expanded range of polo shirts for 2019. Continuous refinement of our products is something we are focused on. We enjoyed considerable success in 2018 which has led to a doubling of the number of styles in the range. We are very excited to be popping up in Ham Yard Village, Soho later this month.”

Keane’s ethos is that fashion can be too throw away, and quality should be at the core of menswear staples, like the polo shirt. Following success selling exclusively online in 2018, he believes he is tapping into an increased demand for fewer items of better quality. The brand name derives from Niccolò Polo, an Italian travelling merchant best known as the father of explorer Marco Polo. Travel is a personal passion of Keane, who wanted to make products as versatile for travel as possible.

New features have been added for 2019 including a concealed microfibre cloth for glasses or device cleaning, and a unique ‘grip’ on the inside of the placket to ensure hooked sunglasses stay firmly in place.

The brand will also be available to buy at a number of outdoor events throughout the summer, including Goodwood Festival of Speed on 4-7 July. The brand’s presence is also being furthered through its two-year partnership with the City AM Club and the forthcoming launch on several multi-brand stores including Wolf & Badger, Opumo and Thread.

Retail prices for the main collection range from £80 - £120, with limited editions ranging from £125 - £350. Luxury T-shirts are also set to trial in the pop-up shop, which will be adjacent to the five star Ham Yard Hotel.
