Next announces opening date for Oxford Street Gap concession
Next has confirmed that Gap's new concession at its Oxford Street store is to open on 14 March 2022.
The fashion brand will join other companies including Sockshop, O2, Lipsy and Paperchase at the Oxford Street store.
The news was first announced via billboard posters nearby and follows the agreement announced in September 2021, where the two companies formed a joint venture to operate Gap-branded shop-in-shop concessions at select Next retail locations.
Next will also host Gap’s UK ecommerce business across the Next Total Platform.
In a statement last year, Mark Breitbard, CEO and President of Gap Global, said: “Gap is partnering with Next, one of the UK’s leading online clothing retailers, to amplify our omnichannel business and meet our customers in UK & Ireland where they are shopping now.”
