Fledging label RAGYARD, which specialises in one-off, customised and vintage items, has launched a shop-in-shop in the Designer Studio of Selfridges, Oxford Street.

The London label was founded two years ago and has stores on the Portobello Road and in Truman Brewery. It produces its one-off and customised pieces in its London workshop for men and women.

For its bazaar-themed shop-in-shop for Selfridges it has conceived a number of limited edition pieces including a collaboration with Cool Hand Wash, which comprises 90s premium vintage sportswear elevated with diamant crystals. along with a range of unique vintage homewares, painted vintage shearling and sequinned, customised band T-shirts.

Other highlights of the collection include reworked denim, military jackets, trousers and jumpsuits, creative bleach-dyed hoodies and tiger-badged satin shirt dresses.

Founder and creative director Josephine Starsmore said: “London is full of amazing crafts people with increasingly rare traditional skills. RAGYARD aims to revive these in an innovative and exciting way for our global customers. We love to create pieces that allow people to say something about who they are and make them feel happy.”

The shop-in-shop in Selfridges will also be used as an event space with planned activities including hand painting of one off pieces and customisation with embroidery and appliqué with the creative team.
