New CEO to take helm at Henri Lloyd

British heritage sailing brand Henri Lloyd is to appoint board member Jonas Andersson as interim CEO as current CEO, Magnus Liljeblad, steps down while the company searches for the right permanent replacement.

Hans Eckerström, chairman and controlling shareholder, said: "There are many areas of the brand’s relaunch we can look back at with pride and we are confident that we have started something really special in the market.

“We have decided to make improvements and additions to the very top of our management structure so that we can grow and fully achieve our vision for the brand.”

Henri Lloyd has had an encouraging reaction to its new positioning as it relaunched its collections for SS20. This signals the next stage of its journey as the brand looks to get back on course. A new creative director is also being sought.
