Victoria Beckham is undeniably a British icon. After becoming a household name in the ‘90s, Posh Spice is now on a journey building her fashion and beauty empire, which Netflix is giving us a behind-the-scenes look into with its new documentary series.

Netflix officially began production on the documentary series following Beckham and her fashion and beauty business today.

With exclusive access to the singer-turned-designer and her family, the docuseries explores Beckham’s time in the global spotlight as well as her strive to become a major player in the field of luxury fashion.

Beckham launched her eponymous line in 2008 and soon became renowned for its tailored silhouettes and timeless elegance.

She first ventured into the beauty space with Estée Lauder before launching Victoria Beckham Beauty in 2019. Founded on the idea that "beauty should complement and empower the dynamic life you lead", Beckham set out to create a new standard of clean luxury with high-performing, cruelty-free and sustainably-minded makeup and skincare products.

Last year, Beckham entered the fragrance category for the first time with three scents. Created in collaboration with master parfumier Jérôme Épinette, the genderless artisanal fragrances are inspired by a particular era in her own life.

It wasn't until March 2023 that the beauty and fashion empire finally turned a profit and now the Founder is ready to flaunt her successes.

This news follows the release of her husband David Beckham’s Netflix series chronicling his rise to fame as a successful soccer player and pop culture icon.

The upcoming release promises to "get up close and personal with the former pop star as she juggles her business and family life".

The series, from Studio 99 and Dorothy St Pictures, is being executive produced by the Emmy-nominated Nicola Howson (BECKHAM, 99, Save Our Squad, Ronnie O’Sullivan: The Edge of Everything) as well as BAFTA nominated Julia Nottingham (Pamela: a love story, The Greatest Night in Pop).
