Net-a-Porter unveils exclusive capsule collection with Manolo Blahnik
Net-a-Porter has unveiled a new capsule footwear collection with Manolo Blahnik, inspired by the style of Marie Antoinette – the last Queen of France before the fall of the monarchy during the French Revolution.
Drawing inspiration from “the lavish aesthetic of Versailles”, the capsule captures the spirit of elegance with delicate bows, sculptural rosettes and rich satins across nine exclusive styles.
Fabrics and finishings “evoke the essence of Marie Antoinette herself”, with a nod to delicate lace bodices and satin pannier skirts in the form of satin kitten-heeled and pointed-toe mules, satin T-bar and pointed-toe pumps and lace-up stiletto sandals, all available in a rich colour palette of vibrant orange, deep red, mint green and soft pastel pink.
Brigitte Chartrand, Chief Buying and Merchandising Officer at Net-a-Porter, said: “This capsule collection offers our customers a unique opportunity to own a piece of Manolo Blahnik’s creativity, expressed through the timeless elegance of Marie Antoinette. It is a celebration of artistry, femininity and enduring glamour.”
Manolo Blahnik is the exclusive sponsor of the V&A’s Marie Antoinette Style exhibition in London, open until March 2026 and featuring a curated selection of styles from Manolo Blahnik’s archives, alongside original sketches.
The Manolo Blahnik Marie Antoinette capsule collection is available to shop exclusively at Net-a-Porter from 20 October.
Earlier this month, Net-a-Porter launched an exclusive capsule collection with Victoria Beckham, fresh off the back of the designer’s SS26 show in Paris and the release of her Netflix documentary.
