Nasty Gal to open first UK pop-up

25 October 2017

Nasty Gal, the US-founded young fashion brand acquired by Boohoo earlier this year, is to open its first UK pop-up shop on London's Carnaby Street next month.

The store will be based at 3 Carnaby Street, in a 2,740 sq ft unit formerly occupied by American Apparel, and will be open from 2–29 November showcasing its new Studio collection along with clothing and accessories from its autumn range.

Customers will be able to try products on in the store with the option of next-day delivery to the pop-up or to their home and they will also be able to order further styles online. The pop-up will also host DJ sets, events and live talks.

Manchester-based young fashion etailer Boohoo acquired the IP and certain assets of Nasty Gal in February of this year for $20m. The brand had been founded in LA by entrepreneur Sophia Amoruso in 2006 but last year ran into difficulties and entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
