Nadine Merabi's party wear comes to London with permanent flagship

British womenswear brand Nadine Merabi is bringing glamour-infused partywear to the streets of London at its first permanent flagship store.

In 2016 Nadine Merabi turned to fashion design after a successful international career in sports as she felt there was nothing on the market she wanted to buy, which is to say stand-out designs, made to last and at an accessible price point. She and co-founder Blue Wilson pooled their respective creative and business acumen to create a womenswear brand that is now a go-to for parties, red carpets and eveningwear for a legion of women, including many famous faces.

Fast forward to November 2023, Merabi, which had been operating in the direct-to-consumer space for the past seven years, decided to test the waters of physical retail when opening a pop-up in London. The six-week pop-up was the start of an "activation plan" which saw the brand launch a selection of wholesale partnerships across the UK and US, as well as a series of pop-ups throughout 2024.

Due to the huge success of the South Molton pop-up, the brand has returned to the capital with a permanent store, just in time for what they dubbed the 'Merabi season' - otherwise known as party season.

The flagship store "allows customers the opportunity to see and experience the quality, craftsmanship" of Merabi garments first-hand.

The opening was celebrated with an intimate dinner co-hosted by Nadine Merabi and Olympic silver heptathlon medalist, Katarina Johnson-Thompson. Who mentioned that Merabi has always been "the first thing I go to" when picking an outfit away from the TeamGB tracksuit.
