Nadine Merabi taps ex-ASOS and ex-Jigsaw CEOs as strategic advisors
Luxury fashion house Nadine Merabi has appointed former CEO of ASOS and Matches, Nick Beighton, and former CEO of Jigsaw and Oasis & Warehouse, Hash Ladha, as strategic advisors, as the brand enters its next phase of global expansion.
The appointments come as the brand celebrates its 10th anniversary, signalling a commitment to scaling its international footprint. Both Beighton and Ladha will help the brand reshape its organisational structure and management team to support ambitious growth targets across the UK, US, and European markets.
While the brand is planning to appoint a permanent CEO soon, following the departure of its former Chief Executive Jacobo Hachuel towards the end of last year, Ladha will cover the executive brief.
Following the future CEO appointment, both Beighton and Ladha will continue to support the business as Non-Executive Directors on the board and work alongside Merabi and the wider leadership team.
Both Beighton and Ladha have been integrated into the business since February, working closely with founder Nadine Merabi. Beighton will continue to advise the brand three days a month, while Ladha is currently in the business two days a week.
Nadine Merabi, founder of her namesake brand, said: “We are working with Nick and Hash on planning the next stage of growth and reshaping the organisation to deliver our ambitious plans over the next few years. I met both Hash and Nick at networking events and recognised that I needed experienced CEOs from diverse backgrounds to help develop the plan for the next part of our journey.
"In our tenth year, this is a marker that we are ready for the next decade. We are just as creative, innovative, and ambitious as when we first started. We have grown brilliantly in the last few years, and now we wish to grow faster and, in more markets, bringing the ‘Merabi magic’ to a global customer base."
