N Brown's JD Williams brand is expanding its range with Mango, Phase Eight and Whistles

JD Williams, part of the digital fashion and homewear retailer N Brown Group, is to extend its product offering with third party brands including Mango, Phase Eight and Whistles next month.

The range extension is part of N Brown’s strategy to expand and improve its brand and product propositions and complement its own label offering, while boosting JD Williams brand identity as an "emporium of discovery". 

Mango and Whistles products will include jackets, dresses, knitwear, and jersey tops, with prices ranging between £10 and £130, whilst the Phase Eight offering will have an occasionwear focus, including dresses and jumpsuits, with prices ranging from £100 to £200.

Sarah Welsh, CEO of Retail at N Brown, said: “Our Clothing and Footwear range is now back in growth, particularly with consumers rekindling their appetite for occasionwear as restrictions eased. We’re really pleased with the performance of our Womenswear third-party brands in the latest period and see lots of opportunity in this area.

"Mango, Phase Eight and Whistles are all brands that align well with the overall JD Williams identity and we are certain that our customers will love these new additions this Spring.”

Last week the Manchester-based N Brown Group reported that revenues in Q3 rose slightly by 3.3% year on year to £267.6 million, with product revenue up 3.5% and financial services revenue up 3%.  Group Q3 product revenue growth was driven by its five strategic brands (JD Williams, Simply Be, Ambrose Wilson, Jacamo and Home Essentials) which grew 5.5% in the 18 weeks to 1 January 2022.
