MY WARDROBE HQ has partnered with Amrika London to offer a selection of the luxury South Asian retailer's collection for rental ahead of Eid, which begins on 21 April.

The collection will offer exclusive ready-to-wear pieces from South Asian designers such as ELAN, Ridhi Mehra, Archana Rao, SVA and Payal Singhal, all available for rental from four days.

With a focus on occasion and resort wear, the MY WARDROBE HQ x Amrika collection includes kaftans, embroidered gowns, silk jumpsuits as well as floral appliqué and prints.

The selection was devised to enable the British South East Asian community to dress for Eid and other cultural celebrations and weddings in a more sustainable manner.

“We are super excited to collaborate with MWHQ and celebrate circular fashion. As advocates of slow fashion, and made to order pieces, our values align perfectly here. At Amrika, we are keen to bring South Asian designers to the mainstream and continue to break barriers. Joining forces with MWHQ allows us to make these sensational pieces accessible and easy to incorporate in one's evolving wardrobe,” explained Amrika London founder Jackie Bansal Nandhra.

Sacha Newall, founder of MY WARDROBE HQ added: “We are very proud of this partnership with Amrika, it is a dynamic and exciting new company and we love to grow with our partners and spread sustainable fashion consumption as widely as possible.”

Since launching in 2019 MY WARDROBE HQ has become a leading destination for renting and buying contemporary and luxury womenswear fashion. A multitude of brands are available on its platform while it also powers rental services for big names such as Jigsaw and Burberry. It also has a bricks and mortar presence within Harrods.

Amrika London was born in 2015 with a focus on championing South Asian designers, with the aim to empower the growing British South Asian community with fusion and Indo-Western wear.
