Following Mytheresa's acquisition of the YOOX NET-A-PORTER Group last month, it has today announced Mr Porter, Mytheresa and The Outnet's new leadership teams as the brands unite under the new entity, LuxExperience.

LuxExperience was formed following the completion of Mytheresa's acquisition of the YOOX NET-A-PORTER Group on 24 April. It unites Net-A-Porter, Mr Porter, YOOX, The Outnet and Mytheresa under one roof, while preserving and strengthening their distinct brand identities.

Today, Mytheresa, THE OUTNET and Mr Porter have confirmed their separate leadership teams, with new appointments effective immediately.

Mytheresa, the multi-brand digital platform, has announced its reshaped leadership team.

Since 2006, Mytheresa has established itself as an industry leader in the online luxury market. The newly appointed leaders have been promoted from within the company.

The following take on new leadership roles at Mytheresa:

Chief Commercial Officer - Simon Tweed has been promoted to CCO, responsible for driving Mytheresa ́s commercial success and overall commercial strategy.

Chief Growth & Site Management Officer - Dominik Laß has been promoted to Chief Growth & Site Management Officer, adding performance marketing to his current remit. Laß has been overseeing shop experience, onsite management and project management as Vice President Shop Management & Project Management.

Before joining Mytheresa as Head of Shop Management in 2015, Laß held management positions at Planet Sports and Peek & Cloppenburg.

Chief Buying & Group Fashion Ventures Officer - Tiffany Hsu continues in her role as Chief Buying Officer, driving Mytheresa 's buying strategy across all categories.

On the new appointments, Kliger said: "I am excited about the promotion of Simon and Dominik, two outstanding leaders, who have already made significant contributions to the success of Mytheresa. Together with the existing team, they will drive Mytheresa's growth within the newly formed LuxExperience group."

Mr Porter

Mr Porter

Mr Porter, the men’s luxury e-tailer, announced new appointments to its dedicated leadership team.

The new leadership includes the following key roles:

Chief Executive Officer - Last month, on 24 April, it was revealed that Toby Bateman, founding member of Mr Porter, was returning to its helm as CEO.

From 2010 to 2020, he was instrumental in the establishment and rapid growth of Mr Porter. Originally Buying Director, he was promoted to Managing Director in 2015. He is considered a "global pioneer" of the online menswear fashion business.

Bateman said: "The expertise and vision of our leadership team will be invaluable as we continue to enhance Mr Porter’s standing as the global authority on men’s style. We are a destination to discover fashion, inspiration, and advice. It’s about the world’s best menswear: the product, the edit, and how you can wear it. In this pursuit, I am excited to be returning to Mr Porter alongside founding member Jeremy.

Brand Director - On the same day the acquisition was confirmed, Jeremy Langmead also announced his return to Mr Porter as Brand Director, where he will be responsible for shaping and evolving the brand.

As a founding member of Mr Porter, alongside Bateman, Langmead was Editor-in-Chief from 2010 to 2014. After a year out as Chief Content Officer at auction house Christie's, he returned to Mr Porter in 2015, where he held the role of Brand, Content & Communications Director until 2020.

His reunion with Bateman at Mr Porter was warmly welcomed by many key industry figures, including Lucy Yeomans, former Editor-in-Chief of Net-A-Porter's PORTER magazine and now founder of fashion styling technology platform DREST. She commented: "Now this really is the BEST news! Dream team back together." The British Fashion Council's outgoing CEO Caroline Rush commented: "Dream team!!!".

Those continuing in their leadership roles include:

Director of Private Labels - Liza Canneford continues to be responsible for the development and expansion of the brand.

Buying Director - Daniel Todd continues to lead all buying activities, responsible for curating Mr Porter's offering.

Kliger added: "Mr Porter is an iconic brand and we are proud to see it within the LuxExperience portfolio. I am very confident that the return to a dedicated management team, under Toby ́s leadership, will drive significant growth and profitability for Mr Porter by delivering the best experience to its customers."

The Outnet

The Outnet, the online destination for luxury fashion from previous seasons, has also confirmed its current leadership team as the brand integrates into the newly formed LuxExperience group.

While The Outnet will "simplify and streamline its business model" to foster new growth, its management team will remain unchanged.

The leadership team includes the following:

Managing Director - Sabah Naqushbandi continues in her role as Managing Director, overseeing buying, merchandising, creative, and marketing.

"We remain focused on the continued transformation of The Outnet with our efforts concentrated on our core value proposition. The Outnet offers customers unrivalled access to expertly curated, past-season luxury fashion at exceptional prices. As we continue to evolve, we are committed to delivering on our brand promise – bringing joy and value to our customers through a more streamlined, agile, and customer-centric operation," said Naqushbandi.

Head of Buying - Georgina Coulter continues to lead all buying functions to deliver a curated and commercially effective selection of past-season luxury fashion.

Head of Merchandising - Franceska Waddicor continues to be responsible for optimising product assortment, inventory management and pricing to maximise sales and profitability.

Creative Director - Christopher Brown continues to lead the creative vision, ensuring a cohesive brand aesthetic and distinct visual identity.

Marketing Director - Kate Murray continues to spearhead all marketing initiatives, including PR and brand communications, social media, site trading, CRM and VIP client Relations.

Kliger added: "I have great confidence in the well-established and talented management team at The Outnet. Since Sabah took over the management of the store brand in May 2024, there have already been clear improvements in the business. Customers as well as The Outnet will benefit greatly from the planned separation and simplification of the business model."

About the acquisition

On 24 April, Mytheresa revealed that it had successfully closed its acquisition of YNAP from luxury conglomerate Richemont, formally uniting two of the world's biggest and best-known multi-brand online luxury groups under the new entity, LuxExperience.

Mytheresa is now YNAP’s sole shareholder and will continue to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the new trade name LuxExperience, with a new ticker symbol of LUXE.  Richemont sold YNAP to Mytheresa with a cash position of €555m and no financial debt. Mytheresa, in return, issued 49,741,342 shares in Mytheresa to Richemont, representing 33% of its fully diluted share capital.

The new LuxExperience leadership team was revealed earlier this month, with Heather Kaminetsky, previously President North America at Mytheresa and a former exec at Net-A-Porter, returning to helm Net-A-Porter as CEO. Her appointment is indicative of the strategic importance of the US market to Net-A-Porter.
