MR PORTER launches new campaign to “re-establish core brand values”

Luxury online menswear style destination MR PORTER has today launched the first of three short films in the start of a year-long campaign called ‘Discover MR PORTER’.

The campaign aims to re-establish MR PORTER’s core brand values, reflecting on the progress made since it launched in February 2011 while also looking ahead to the future.

The series of films have been created to not only showcase MR PORTER as a style destination, but also as “a place of discovery and self-expression”.

The launch film is called ‘Identity’ and focuses on personality and individuality. The second film is called ‘Belonging’, storytelling the retailer’s sense of community, and the third, ‘Exploration’, champions responsible style and craftsmanship, highlighting the next generation and the future of the planet.

Ben Palmer, Creative Director at MR PORTER, said: “The beauty of ‘Discover MR PORTER’ is that each film will mean something completely different to each person. The language, cinematic filming and locations all take you on an emotive journey.

“Across the three films, the campaign evokes our core pillars and signifies a pivotal moment in MR PORTER’s evolution, allowing people to discover and rediscover our brand in a refreshed light. As a global business we have a responsibility to our customers – whoever they are, whatever they do and wherever they are from – to showcase our brand values of community, inclusivity and responsible style, and to let them know everyone is welcome at MR PORTER.”

The campaign is available to view globally across social and online channels, through TV partners and prime out-of-home locations across MR PORTER’s key markets in the UK, US, Middle East and Hong Kong, alongside the retailer’s own channels including Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, as well as on the website and on its app.
