MR PORTER launches luxury resale service

Leading luxury online menswear style destination MR PORTER has today launched a resale service in partnership with technology provider Reflaunt called MR PORTER RESELL.

Available to all customers based in the UK, US, Germany and Hong Kong SAR, it will give them the ability to resell their items - as well as rejuvenate their wardrobes with circular impact - across ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes and jewellery, creating a dedicated destination and community within the resale industry which has, up until now, been largely dominated by womenswear.

The partnership will offer a digital and in-person service, with complimentary collection or drop-off, and product listings on international marketplaces, as well as flexible customer reward options such as store credit with an extra 10% incentive or direct bank transfer.

Reflaunt’s technology “powers the entire customer journey”, offering complimentary services such as a home collection and professional photography management. The curated listings are then uploaded onto international marketplaces.


Additionally, there is a tailored wardrobe refresh service for MR PORTER EIPs (Extremely Important People) to resell their pre-loved items, also available in-person or digitally.

MR PORTER customer insights have revealed that over 75% of customers surveyed see sustainability credentials of products now play a role in their purchases, and 50% have already started exploring the resale market.
