MR PORTER launches exclusive Celine Homme AW21 collection
Much lauded designer Hedi Slimane has created an exclusive Celine Homme AW21 capsule collection for MR PORTER, launching today, under the title "Teen Knight Poem".
The 43-piece collection runs across ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories and stand-out pieces include an oversized studded denim trucker jacket, metallic leather Derby shoes, an embroidered ribbed wool beanie in collaboration with artist Mr Gene Beery, a striped alpaca and wool-blend cardigan and the ‘Kurt’ distressed jeans.
The collection is inspired by a vision of youth reinventing itself through imaginary codes of new identities, and Slimane invited seven artists to participate in the ‘Teen Knight Poem’ editions, a group show where “1990’s, cold wave and goth accents meet in an adolescent parade.”
MR PORTER will celebrate the launch of the new season and exclusive capsule collection with a global digital campaign beginning 5 July, along with dedicated editorial and social content brought to life across its editorial and social platforms, including its online magazine The Journal and Instagram channel.
Prices for the 43-piece exclusive collection range from £90 to £7,100.
