Monsoon fully embraces Brit-boho roots with new capsule collection
Monsoon is fully embracing its signature Brit-boho aesthetic with the launch of a limited-edition collection in collaboration with UK-based artist and print designer Charlie Taylor.
The new 10-piece capsule comprises both womenswear and kidswear pieces (for ages 3-13) and marks another chapter in the brand's journey to reaffirm its boho heritage under founder Peter Simon.

Launching today, 19 May, the collection combines the brand's bohemian silhouettes with three exclusive prints by Taylor, who is known for her wanderlust-worthy illustrations and distinctive colour palette.
Each print began as an original artwork hand-painted by the artist and is "infused with a sense of escapism" and reminiscent of "carefree summer moments", according to the brand.
Just in time for summer, the pieces are made from breathable fabrics and feature sundresses as well as lightweight separates. The collection also includes a "key boho accessory" - the square scarf.

The collection also allows mothers and children to dress in a coordinated boho-style aesthetic through matching pieces, championing a "modern take on mini-me dressing".
"At its heart, this collaboration is about celebrating boho craftsmanship. By working with an emerging female artist, we bring a fresh, artisanal perspective, honouring heritage techniques while championing the next generation of creative voices," said Caroline Jackson, Monsoon Creative Director.

"I loved working on this collection with Monsoon," said Taylor.
She added: "I wanted the designs to feel joyful and special, with colours and motifs that evoke the sea washing over your toes and long, sun-soaked lunches beneath palm trees. I hope people feel the warmth of the sun wearing these pieces - a postcard from holiday for every day."

A second drop of the collection will launch on 28 May in select stores and on the brand's website.
